Seeing as a number of my LJ friends are talking about their fitness goals and so on I figure I might post some updates on mine. This is really more for documentation/reference than anything else.
I have 5 weeks before the Semi-marathon de Nice in all its 21.1km of fun. My target for that race is to break 1h30. That is eminently doable - I've run the

Geez, Francis, I can't believe I was here to witness this post!! Wow. I'm honored. And now, being inspired, I shall have to post about MY fitness this week. I broke some barriers which is awesome for my psyche even if it means nothing much in reality.
