Oh, wow! I love Kara's thoughts here and her talk with Helo.

Can't wait to see how it ends.

That chat was so much fun to write, first time I really tried anything with Helo.

Thanks for commenting.

It's so interesting trying to figure out what was going on in his head while all of this was happening.

The characterization of Kara and Helo's relationship is pretty much perfect here. They have such a wonderful friendship, especially considering how few of those there really are on the show.

This was my first time writing them and having it turn out the way it did was really nice. The two characters really go together so well...

Maybe it's because I never noticed too much of it on first watch of the show, but I'm always fascinated by Kara and Helo's friendship, and I think you have spot-on characterization here as well as relationship-writing. :) Their dialogue was basically perfect, and I had to laugh at Kara's last line even as my heart was breaking.

I constantly realize that huge chunks of this show aren't in my memory because I tend to forget things that don't have to do with Laura -laugh- It's fun to learn new things upon rewatch.

The two of them probably have one of the most supportive and healthy relationships in the whole show, which is saying something.

Yeah, *coughs loudly* me too. >>" Oops? LOL

And yep, which is both fascinating and sad because there were so MANY fascinating and interesting relationships on the show, but so many of them ended up dying (metaphorically or literally) or were not that healthy to start out with. ><"
