So the calico made a bolt and rushed up the steps ... and finding the first floor a living nightmare, she bolted for the top floor to discover ....

Poor Kitty! Poor you! I hope you both can get some rest tonight. The from the pics - the cement work looks good. My neighbors just had what looks like the eact thing done. Except I can't tell if your steps have bullnoses on them. Good luck with the rest of the repairs.
