Last night we had spaghetti for dinner. I tried adding textured vegetable protein (TVP) to the store-bought (Muir Glen) spaghetti sauce. I added a cup of TVP which had been rehydrated in 3/4 cup boiling water, plus some fennel seeds and Turkish oregano. It was okay. Just okay. Not great. Needed something else. Not sure what.
