TV Machine: Catching Up with LOST

Adventures with Food: Hummus Spaghetti
Last night we had spaghetti for dinner. I tried adding textured vegetable protein (TVP) to the store-bought (Muir Glen) spaghetti sauce. I added a cup of TVP which had been rehydrated in 3/4 cup boiling water, plus some fennel seeds and Turkish oregano. It was okay. Just okay. Not great. Needed something else. Not sure what.

Adventures with Food: Soy milk works!
Today was day 1 of switching to soy milk in my morning (sometimes early afternoon) latte. Tom expressed serious skepticism that I would find this change acceptable. Spring Is Coming to Wisconsin!

Fat-Friendly Movie
This weekend Tom and I watched Take the Lead (2006), starring Antonio Banderas and Alfre Woodard. At first it seemed like a number of other "nice white guy takes on rough bunch of teenagers" sort of movie, but this one has some very nice twists.
