Today is the anniversary of the day that America broke from British rule and became its own country.

Today is the anniversary of the day that America told England to fuck off in 1776.

Somehow, in Hetalia fandom this translates to US/UK Super Happy Buttsecks Tiem Day.

I am sure that most of them don't mean to, but it's very difficult when some of the fans have to comment on how "canon" their ship is with every strip and news article that even remotely involves the two
