This was amazing! But also makes me think, men are so different nowadays. There's the whole bromance trend that's going on, but you don't see this level of just love connection and appreciation explicitly shown the way these two show it. It could be due to a lot of things, shatner being canadian, them being a major part of the 60s counterculture, whatever it is, it works. OMG I'm so happy just to know someone read this post and shares my love for these two! :) <3 I don't know where their unique connexion stems from either - although being from the same city as Bill, I can tell you it has nothing to do with being Canadian: men aren't more touchy-feely with each other here than in the rest of America. Unless they're Italian. Or Arabic. Or European in general. Now they will touch and hug and kiss cheeks more commonly - but I love it :). And Bill and Leonard predate the bromance trend by decades. Hell, maybe they started it, just like Kirk and Spock started slash! :-DDDDDD. Lololol.

By the way, have you ever seen this video of the complete 40th anniversary CNN interview? I found it just a few weeks ago and OMG they are so in their own little bubble of love and fun I couldn't stop cooing the entire time.

I'll most definitely have to check that interview out, I got a dvd of Mind meld not too long ago and the warm and fuzzies that it inspired STILL have not dissapated. I am sure you are correct, that Bill and Leonard are the original bromancers
