The urn with Loki's ashes arrived yesterday. Today would have been Bob's 62nd birthday.

If anybody in Seattle has any fun going today/tonight, I'd be up for it.

bob, grief, loki

I know how rough anniversaries can be. Good luck finding something fun, and sometimes it helps just to fake it until you make it.

I looked at ISFDB earlier and saw his birthday listed. My cats' ashes are in wooden boxes.

I hope you find something to do tonight.

My favorite restaurant located in or near Seattle is Maxwell's. The casual(but nice) dining atmosphere masks the very fine quality of the food. I have been to few restaurants better and all were twice the price. It would take me 3 or 4 hours to travel (I reside down the street from you, but only if your perspective is global) but I would be willing to do so. If you wish to go without me, it is located within:

The Renaissance Hotel
515 Madison St
Seattle, WA 98104-1119

The offer would have been legitimate had it also been timely. Does the thought count?

On one anniversary of my birth (can not recall which, 14th maybe?), this middle aged gentleman sitting at the table next to mine turned over to me, handed me one 5 dollar bill and said "here kid, happy birthday". The world can be very magical. I believe all humans are the same everywhere.

Do I know you?
So to respond to your question I ask, are you human? If yes, then you know me. However, we have never been formally introduced.

The offer would have been legitimate had it also been timely.
I should have also added "and lucky", because there would have been about 50% chance of me getting lost and showing up at your home at 3:30 AM.

If you ever do dine there, tell if your experience was positive, or not.
