As much as I love 7 Deadly zins, others of that grape are just not pushing my buttons.

Murphy-Goods, Liar's Dice, 2007, Sonoma. Very nice nose. Very bland on the palate.

Bogle, Old vine, 2007, Clarksburg. Smells like old shoes. Slightly spicy.

I'm afraid that if I'd tried to blend them, I"d have gotten the worst of both.

Zin is one of those things. If it's not delicious, it can be really bad. And omg, old shoes? ROFL
