I have been steeping a pint of basil leaves in olive oil for a month. Last night I made mayo with it.
I'm just gonna tell you that you WANT a tomato sandwich with some of that on it.
It was one egg yolk, juice of half a lemon and a cup of basil olive oil.
I swear I will never buy mayo from the grocery again.
