This morning, in between taking the cats to the vet and stopping by my old work, I went on an informational interview at a design firm in St. Paul. It's kinda like when you go out with that other guy just to make sure your boyfriend's who you want to be with, ya know? It went fine, but I left with the feeling that I had been rushed or had missed my ( Read more... )

Ooh I can't wait to see you when you visit Drake!

You definitely have to come by Carnegie and you definitely need to say hello to Thomas while he is still here (this is his last semester at Drake. Did you ever hear that?)

Wouldn't miss it for the world! But ya gotta tell me the code first ;-) Yeah, Cody told me about Thomas. Tell me there's anther full time prof coming in to replace him - can the department go on otherwise? Anyway, I hope to catch lots of people at the art opening. And then I wanna see all the DrakeMag/DUIN/artsy goings on in the lab or wherever...

sorry for not writing back earlier...i swear the site is identical to the graphic design department site http://www.gd.drake.edu/department/ so if you mean to tell me that andrew came up with the blue-patterned background, matrix typeface, and "sexy" arrows without thomas' input, i would be very, very surprised. i do see the u.o. influence, though. and again, thank you for providing them with at least some sort of interesting content.

hope you had fun in chicago and i'll hunt you down next time in town (most likely post-spring break.)

Health insurance? I live in Socialist Canada now. I suggest it. Cheap health care for all, and legal drug useage.

Ah, health insurance. It's so nice not to have to worry about it. :-P Good luck finding some - I'm sure there's a good comparison website you could look at.

sorry for not responding to this sooner - I would love to talk to your mom if you think she could cut explain my options to me and cut through the crap. Think she'd mind a call at home or is at work best? Thanks for the offer!
