Piotr had finally managed to fall asleep, despite the whithering presence in his mind, growing stronger with each death in his family.

His head turns into the touch for a moment, an image of Katya passing through his dreamstate before he stops... and his eyes fly open.

To see the scarred face of his estranged brother looking down at him.

"Mikhail," he says, voice raspy with sleep.

"You remember me," he returns as he straightens up.

It is a supreme effort not to shift into his armored form. If it is at all possible to remain civil and nonconfrontational, he must try.

"I could never forget you."

A sad look in his eyes.

"How often I have wished that you could."

The Abomination's face rears back in pain as the blade stabs through his eye... but once it is pulled out, the damage immediately starts to repair itself.

And he looks back at her with a nasty grin.

"Ugly little whelp, still living in sewage. Have you accepted the inevitability of your pathetic fate yet, or do you still believe the lies spun by your flaxen-haired fraudulet angel?"

Mikhail is surprised by the sudden attack, but instinctively, his hands reach up to stop those sharp claws.... and Tether suddenly blinks out of sight.

"Back to the Hill with you. Insubordination will not be tolerated..."

She knows that she can't take on the Abomination. She learned that last time.

But then, she's nowhere near the same person she was last time either. She'll die at his hands before she breaks.

Bones, hard and jagged, spring around her entire hand as she leaps towards him and attempts to throw a punch.

Only seconds after Mikhail blinks Tether away, she re-appears in front of him thanks to the teleporting powers of Bouncer.

This time, the electric tail aimed straight at him in a swing.
