About 30 minutes after the Blackbird had returned to base without anyone in it, things started to go crazy at the X-Mansion. Mainly starting with the SHIELD drop ship that landed on the X-Mansion’s front lawn

The mansion's security had alerted whichever senior X-Man was in attendance of the return of the Blackbird. The fact that he hadn't even known it was gone cause some blinking. No one emerging from the 'bird turned it into a scowl. He had spent the last 30 minutes having the mansion's computers talk to the 'bird's computers, trying to get an idea of a flight log.
The announcement of their "guests" on the front lawn (can it ever be saved and have really real grass grow again without Ororo helping it?) deepened the scowl.
... geben Sie mir Stärke...
Rapid thought German before a familiar cloud of brimstone...then he's on the lawn.
"Willkommener Kommandant. Don't tell me something is yet amiss."
Northstar has touches down beside Wagner in another moment. He'd been about to land and look for Drake when the Blackbird's return had forced him to do another wide circle, and then he'd nearly wound up a smear on SHIELD's foward windows trying to come in after that. He might had been chewing granite and spitting sand on other occasions, but for now he has one concern.
"Who took the Blackbird and how long am I allowed to ground them for?"
Commander Austen cleared his throat, and handed Nightcrawler a photo of Anole that one of their survielence teams was able to snap off. "This young mutant, wearing one of your uniforms, and surprisingly escaping in your jet. Harbouring the terrorist Thor, who you have probably heard has recently taken down one of our helicarriers. As well as a group of youth who need to be taken into custody for training under regulations of the U.H.A."
"We have intelligence that they just returned in the X-Jet. I would ask that you release the youth that are not in your charge and Thor into our custody."
Ororo gives an exasperated sigh and tugs Melody further back out of the way, hoping both will relay to the girl to calm down, be silent and retreat. They'll worry about decontaminating the entire kitchen later. Time for theatrics is now over.
"Our children are being trained properly, Commander, by the consent of their parent or guardians to attend this school for that sole purpose. The youths that you refer of -and which I am entirely unaware of- are likely deserving of the same consideration. And if you are seeking Thor, perhaps you have come to the wrong Mansion

Indra wrapped his arms around himself for warmth, suddenly wishing he'd taken the time to grab an overshirt or jacket before rushing out. He hadn't responded to Melody's outburst because...well, she's Melody--she'll eventually tire herself out.
He wanted desperately to ask Kurt about Victor, and the others, but he didn't. He knew better, especially with storms current mood showing across the skies. Instead he took a step back, out of the situation, and waited.
He not only caught Storm's silent message but thought it creative. He might have to talk to her soon about that...then again it might just be his tail talking to him at the moment.
His attention is solidly on Austen, though and growing more serious, though his tone remains light and welcoming.
"This school is acknowledged by SHIELD as a sactioned training facility, Kommandant. It operates well within the confines of the new law. If there is a problem with something that the students have done, then I suggest you start with the proper paperwork and channels. If there is nothing else, I will bid you guten Tag and thank you for removing your vehicle from off of an unsanctioned landing pad. I'm sure the professor will be happy to overlook any damages your vehicle has caused to the school's property."
Ororo's smiles sweetly in complete agreement with Kurt's words. She compounds that with a face oozing utter sympathy toward the Commander.
"Yes, I am quite sure Charles will. In keeping the Professor's goodwill intact, perhaps you should not dawdle, Commander. Looks like it might rain." And there's not a devilish gleam in her eyes as she says that. Not at all.

It wasn't long after that Paras Gavaskar was leaning out his window catching sight of both the X-Jet returning, and SHIELD landing.
Running as fast as his legs could carry him, he arrived on the lawn not long after Mr. Wagner, panting only slightly.
