About 30 minutes after the Blackbird had returned to base without anyone in it, things started to go crazy at the X-Mansion. Mainly starting with the SHIELD drop ship that landed on the X-Mansion’s front lawn

Ororo gives an exasperated sigh and tugs Melody further back out of the way, hoping both will relay to the girl to calm down, be silent and retreat. They'll worry about decontaminating the entire kitchen later. Time for theatrics is now over.
"Our children are being trained properly, Commander, by the consent of their parent or guardians to attend this school for that sole purpose. The youths that you refer of -and which I am entirely unaware of- are likely deserving of the same consideration. And if you are seeking Thor, perhaps you have come to the wrong Mansion

Indra wrapped his arms around himself for warmth, suddenly wishing he'd taken the time to grab an overshirt or jacket before rushing out. He hadn't responded to Melody's outburst because...well, she's Melody--she'll eventually tire herself out.
He wanted desperately to ask Kurt about Victor, and the others, but he didn't. He knew better, especially with storms current mood showing across the skies. Instead he took a step back, out of the situation, and waited.
He not only caught Storm's silent message but thought it creative. He might have to talk to her soon about that...then again it might just be his tail talking to him at the moment.
His attention is solidly on Austen, though and growing more serious, though his tone remains light and welcoming.
"This school is acknowledged by SHIELD as a sactioned training facility, Kommandant. It operates well within the confines of the new law. If there is a problem with something that the students have done, then I suggest you start with the proper paperwork and channels. If there is nothing else, I will bid you guten Tag and thank you for removing your vehicle from off of an unsanctioned landing pad. I'm sure the professor will be happy to overlook any damages your vehicle has caused to the school's property."
Ororo's smiles sweetly in complete agreement with Kurt's words. She compounds that with a face oozing utter sympathy toward the Commander.
"Yes, I am quite sure Charles will. In keeping the Professor's goodwill intact, perhaps you should not dawdle, Commander. Looks like it might rain." And there's not a devilish gleam in her eyes as she says that. Not at all.
Austen looks a little bit awkward, and not sure what to do at this point. They will flay him for returning empty handed. "Well regardless, we will need to check your facilities for Thor. It would not be in your best interest to be harbouring the man."
'Reading' is hard to do with all this commotion. SHIELD. Why are they here? Approaching the situation she gets an idea for what's going on, and Emma steps out to the parade with a scowl.
~"The children and Thor aren't here. They must've given you the slip."~ Emma leaves the smallest impression on each of them, motivating them to return with no more than they have now. ~"We're very insulted. You're incapable and very sorry."~
"Well it looks like the children and Thor aren't here men, they must have given us the slip." Commander Austen said abruptly.
"We're very sorry if our incapability has insulted you. Enjoy the rest of your day." He gives a slight bow to Nightcrawler and commands his men back into the ship.
Ororo watches the men retreat with a raised brow, How bizarre... and then glimpses Emma, adding a more cynical -Or not. But she says nothing aloud as they watch the SHIELD carrier begin its take off, the briefest of scowls passing across her face as scorch marks across the lawn become an evident reminder of the scene today.
"Here's hoping Northstar and Wolverine have gotten a decent head start on finding the children. I'll alert them on the commlinks that the situation here is resolved -at least, for now." She'll also go back to the hangar deck to inspect the Blackbird and see if any further information can be gathered from it, though she doubts either of her teammates would have missed anything. Still, it would be wise to run it through the engine checks and refuel in case they have to scramble in it again soon.
Keeping physically occupied helps her think. About what trouble their kids might already find themselves in, if they don't find them first. And the trouble they're possibly bound to be in once they return to the
