Derek Khanata’s mind is racing as he heads towards Woo’s house. He’s spent many hours thinking about how SHIELD could better order its operation over the years, and now, with his promotion, he can act on those ideas. Yet he can’t even bring himself to daydream about it. His mind cannot stop working on the puzzle of Jimmy Woo

A long metallic arm comes snaking from the shadows, wrapping around his neck before grabbing and crushing the gun.

“I said keep him quiet, M-11,” a man says from near the source of the arm. “Don’t crush his windpipe.”

From the dark corner of the room that the arm and the voice came from, Ken Hale and the rest of the G-Men could be seen, sans Jimmy Woo.

"'Sup."

A SHIELD agent bursts into the room, his weapon ready. “Sir, I heard a commotion! Is everything…” He pauses as he takes in the image of Khanata, calmly leaning over the desk and looking at papers. There’s no one in the room with him. “…okay?”

Somewhere in a dark room, two figures sit in the shadows observing a scratchy monitor, spying on their subjects. They watch as Woo and his men subdue Khanata and drive off the guard through illusion; they watch as they explain Woo's restoration to Khanata; they watch as they load Woo's requested car aboard the Uranian's flying saucer.

They are fascinated by what they watch, but they watch in silence.

"Your car is loaded," Bob explains. It was a simple matter to beam it aboard. It was slightly harder to make it appear not to be transported up to outside observers. Still, as he continues to make illusions, he finds that they are becoming easier and easier to create. Human minds may be alien to him now -- but they are also familiar, as his mind was once human. Or at least... more human than it is today.

Khanata turns to Jimmy; he's clearly getting nowhere with Ken. "Please. I could help. I have information..."

"Sorry, I gotta motor with Ken on this one. He's the only one of our group who knows the score these days. I know what you know and you don't know jack. See ya."
