"Wanda?" Cap asks as she enters. He notices she doesn't quite seem herself. "Are you alright?"

"Oh, Steve..." Wanda turns to him, and begins to sob. "They... you need to call as many Avengers here as you can. Immediately! I've discovered something of these Young Avengers."

His face turns grim, as he activates a signal on his card. Any available Avengers should start arriving soon.

"What happened?"

"I received a communication from Agatha Harkness. She was still alive... her death was faked."

Thor isn't far off, having dealt with other business, at least for now. He's heading back to the mansion to look into these Young Avengers - the world needs more heroes, after all, and these kids sound promising.

"Thor," Cap says as the Asgardian hero enters, "you're just in time. Turns out there's more to these kids than we thought. Wanda has discovered that they're killers working for Kang."

Hawkeye's not far behind. "So we've gone from Ali Baba and his juvie hall thieves to the Charles Manson Wannabe Fan Club?"

"Something like that. They need to be taken down, and fast." Cap looks grim, but there's also a deep sadness in his eyes. "I just wish... maybe it's not too late to reach a couple of these kids."

Iron Man was on partol when the signal was dispatched.

"Where did this attack take place?" Suspision man as ever.

[diamond_rach]

Diamond emerges from the mansion, listening to the exchange and fiddling wigth one of her throwing diamonds.

"It was in a residence on Long Island," Wanda explains. And she reaches out again. Tony's never been trusting. Perhaps she should make him more trusting. More a team player...

Iron Man can feel his suspision relaxing. yes, this all makes sense. Yes, those children are a problem and have been going farther and farther away from acceptability. He wants to believe they shouldn't be adventuring and this is why Wanda's story makes so much sense.

"Then where can we find them now?" The metallic voice demands, ready for action.

"Wanda!" He hasn't seen her in so long. Fresh from the clean up of a months long mission...

...Something is very, very wrong. He rushes to her and takes her hands in his.

"Wanda...Angel, what's going on?"

This one isn't her husband. This is... one who allowed her husband to die, in a sense, once before.

But he's still a tool here. Not time to punish him for that. Not yet.

"Agatha Harkness has been murdered, her powers stolen by those... children vigilantes. And I think they may have tried to track me... to follow me so that they could steal my powers too..."

No matter what world he's in, however, he is Wanda's protector. It's an easy sell.

As if on cue, the window crashes in. Iron Lad is there, his armor scanning the room -- Kang is here somewhere. And his target...

"Scarlet Witch!" he shouts.

[evilwanda]

"You face the Avengers, murderer!" Wanda screams, throwing a bolt of energy towards the teenage armored hero.

[avengingarrows]

"Dammit-- "

Hawkeye's already nocked a flare arrow and sent it at the intruder before he's had a conscious thought.

Wonder Man shifts to his ionic form. "You kids neeed to stop it, right now."
