Question time!

Ok, so I have a question on internet etiquette.

Say I read something by someone and I... didn't quite agree with them. And then I read something someone had said in comments to that post and I took issue with some of that too. If you don't feel like commenting, don't. Maybe it's your intuition saving you time and trouble. Everyone has different opinions, and there are people on the internet that can be riled-up by almost anything, and can cause unpleasant situations.

I don't know the fandom etiquette on this sort of thing, not really. I think the same rules we use in 'RL' apply: politeness, tact, and desire to understand each other in every detail. If you think it's not worth it, don't waste your time on commenting.

Yeah, I'm probably not going to comment. It just feels like... I don't know. It's probably nothing they haven't heard before, and if I really feel the need to write a post I'll just... write a post. The need seems to have passed for now, anyway :p

Personally I love a spirited debate so I wouldn't be offended if somebody commented disagreeing with something I said. But that's me.
