Viola Club Recital

Lizzy woke up with a sore throat, stuffy noise, and did not feel great, but she went to her Viola Club's Spring recital, and pulled through and played very well!  Her nose ran while in the midst of her solo piece, but she did not let that stop her ( Read more... )

Thank you so much! It is comments like yours that make me step back and appreciate what I have, in so many senses of the word! I think we all get tied-up in the day-to-day routine of life, where we have usually a short-term focus, and comments like yours are so nice to realize to take in the bigger picture! Thank you for that! :)

Thank you so much! Generally she likes/loves playing, except when there is just too much going on (how true!). But most of the time she loves playing! :)

Oooh! A girl after my own spirit. I had my two high-school senior recitals (flute and piano) the week before college auditions... and I gave them with a 104 degree fever. Talk about fun.

Persistence indeed, and quite exhausting. When the fever didn't break on Monday, we ended up at the doctor's office so I could do well at my auditions.
