Nabbed From Her Web!

I have been thinking now and then of keeping a "wild" spider over the winter in a container inside my house, and this afternoon I grabbed the opportunity and made the spider heist, although perhaps a little guiltily...

The very cool looking Garden Spider created an orb web off a hanging plant on the garage a few days ago, and I noticed and watched ( Read more... )

Yay spiders!!! I would totally try to do so, but my roommate would freak out! Plus, I don't see too many buggy creatures except cockroaches, and I really don't want one of those.

Btw, my spider seems to be slowly adjusting to her new surroundings, although I must say she does not seem too happy about it!! ;)
