Nabbed From Her Web!

I have been thinking now and then of keeping a "wild" spider over the winter in a container inside my house, and this afternoon I grabbed the opportunity and made the spider heist, although perhaps a little guiltily...

The very cool looking Garden Spider created an orb web off a hanging plant on the garage a few days ago, and I noticed and watched ( Read more... )

my skin officially tried to run away screaming, then the rest of me wanted to do the same reading that post. Yeah I hate arachnophobia :(

Arachnophobia is a drag, for sure! ;) But education of course is a wonderful thing, perhaps as you get to know them you will probably not get to love them, but perhaps you will be able to tolerate them! ;)

I feed the tarantulas crickets I purchase at my local pet store every week, so will try her on smaller ones and see how that goes! :)

Thank you! They are very shy around people, and would run away and hide if you were a few inches away! :)
