Handicapped ramps

The College gym is undergoing expansion & renovation (despite the fact that it was already big and pretty new). Every couple of weeks some service vehicle or other parks in a way that makes it impossible for anyone who can't handle stepping up a curb to get into the building

Got any friends on the staff of the campus or town newspaper? Large photos of the offending vehicles (with logos prominently displayed) might work for shaming them.

It does sound like a great opportunity to build a website with pictures of the daily offenders...

Ha! Not just with pictures of the vehicles, but the rude drivers too! Yet another reason to keep a camera handy at all times.

Handicap Inspectors

Dave Barry once suggested roaming teams of Handicap Inspectors. If they see someone not obviously handicapped parking in the handicapped space, they perform an extremely invasive medical test to find out. The idea would be, if you weren't qualified to use the handicapped spot before the test, you definitely would be after.
