It ended up being a flea market weekend for me! On Saturday, Zoh and I had an Antiquing + Avengers day. I picked her up at the Hamilton train station and drove us to Lambertville's Golden Nugget Antique Market. It was huge! Every time we thought we had reached the end, a new vista of tables would appear. We didn't even get the chance to see ( Read more... )

Awww thanks XD I couldn't believe it when I saw that book! It was tucked away in an egg crate full of used books, so I might have walked right past it if I hadn't noticed the pretty marbleized cover.

I feel like my chances of finding neat things are better solely because there are a ton of flea markets and antique stores in the area XD

YOU KNOW IT ;o; That sandwich is another thing I'd like to make at home, if only to stop my cravings for it. Plus, maybe then I could get around to ordering something different at Teaberry's. lol

Wow amazing finds! The Kay Nielsen artbook is amazing! As an illustration fan I am drooling!

The crochet collar is so unique and I love love love the tatted lace hankercheif. It is so hard to find examples of tatting, I only have tiny one peice (other then what I have done).

I do feel pretty lucky to have spotted that book :3

I can't imagine tatting for myself! It looks so intricate...

I've tatted for almost 4 years. It's intricate and fussy, but once you get the basics down it's rather easy. I've found it much easier to pick up then knitting.

the hardest part is finding someone to teach you, it's a dying art. It took me nearly a year to figure it out myself. =)
