I are a famous artist

One of my old bosses from Vortex posted this link on Facebook.  I was quite shocked.  (scroll to near the bottom of the article)

What's weird/ironic, is that particular comic was done as sort of a fun lark in between other projects, and it turned out to be one of the most popular things I've ever done.  Go figure.

links, comics

Nifty! since they did link to your FA, might be worth putting up a note in your info at the top of the FA page that you DO have other comics available and how to contact you without needing an FA account. you may get some non-furry traffic from the article that doesn't want to make an account just to be able to contact you. capitalize upon it and make it easy for people to give you money!

That comic was my first exposure to that song. Good stuff. :)

But, it's funny how that kind of thing goes. I had a portfolio review at school last semester and, no joke, the two pieces that got special notice were the two I spent the least amount of time on (and one was done for funsies just 'cause I had an extra piece of clayboard from a previous assignment).

I swear that sometimes I don't even know what, in my own work, is good anymore. :/

I don't think that I saw that particular comic before, but yah, love how it fleshes out the 'story' from the song. Nice how this was turned into a motion comic too.

Am I wrong, or didn't you do one for Hotel California as well?

I've done a bunch of songs, but not that one. That was, um, Mitch Beiro.
