I'm very un-hip. Sometimes I feel a little left out, but most of the time I really don't care, because there's only so much time in life to investigate things you may or may not be interested in

Things I DO NOT UNDERSTAND and have no interest at all inelyssaNovember 12 2008, 06:39:12 UTC
BPAL Twilight Heroes Supernatural Really any TV show dieting talking with your friends about how fat you are and how skinny they are jogging or going to the gym (but I get hiking) perfume skanky clothes designer clothes shoes purses coffee (don't kill me) dogs (don't kill me) self-help books being blatantly rude (answering your phone in a movie theater and having a conversation type rude) bikinis thongs World of Warcraft and other MMORPG games
...There is so much more but I think you get the hint. I AM A SQUARE.
Things that I used to feel that way about but don't anymore: LUSH -- They got me with the solid shampoo, given all the traveling I do. And my hair actually feels better than when I used Pantine. Tea -- I used to hate it and I have grown to absolutely love it thanks to Abuse people

the solid shampoo is pretty awesome. and some of them have glitter in them. but for most people i think the appeal is the vegan, cruelty-free, all-natural ingredients thing.
Frankly, for me... that's most things. :p I am decidedly not in on most things.
As for BPAL... the draw for me is pretty scents, that little bit of girliness and originality at smelling like random things every day vs. the same perfume every day. And the thing is, they come in small sizes and are (usually) cheaper than your retail perfume so you can afford to have many random little scents. :D

Twilight 4chan MMORPGs Anything-CSI House Pushing Daisies Dr. Who Torchwood Okay, most TV shows except Supernatural Emphasis on Reality TV shows Fashion
And that's not even close to the whole list lol. I really don't think anyone can be totally up to date on all the latest obsessions these days. Especially not online! There's so many of them. If you tried to keep up, your head might explode. Easier by far just to coast along and dip into something when it finally seems worth the effort. /back to obscurity. And coffee. Lots of coffee.

No, no, not at all! I don't mind that people like them and, occasionally, I think "should I check this out?" but I just... don't have the inclination.
