Well, I flew on an airplane yesterday. Got up at 3:45 AM, picked up by Dave's limo shortly thereafter and was through security by 5:30.  They make you take your shoes off now and run them through the x-ray machine. Your coat too. Then there are all of these half-dressed people coming through the metal detector. Pretty funny! Flight didn't board ( Read more... )

Charlotte County in Florida is the oldest place in the USA according to the last census figures. (And just so you don't worry, I know that because of an article we did for one of the textbooks, not because I have a library of odd information in my head.)
