Proper post coming soon, with like, words and stuff, but I wanted to get this posted up while it was still vaguely recent. ;) So, as always, I took a picture of everything I ate at the fair from both days I was there. Before you think me a total glutton, do bear in mind that with the exception of beverages and Pronto Pups, everything was split

MMMMMMM..... ♥ it all. This makes me want to photograph the fair food I get at Bridge Day this year. lol. (And hopefully get more of it since I got all of a funnel cake last year where I was working. :P)

I love the cinnamon roasted almonds. I also like the pecans. I got some of both last year, but I didn't eat any of them until later.

I want to go to your fair since there are a lot more options than ever make it to our state fair!

I haven't had the cinnamon roasted pecans in ages.. I should get those again. Sometimes the roaster guy shows up at farmers markets and stuff so there's a chance I wouldn't even have to wait for the next fair...

I want to try a Pronto Pup so bad! I went to my local county fair last weekend, and I thought of you. I really wanted to make a similar post in your honor, but I didn't eat enough food. :( I really want to try cheese curds, too. I've never had them.

Well, I can't speak for all sweet corn ice creams, but this one was just outstandingly good. Definitely worth a shot, if nothing else! And yes! You know I'm a sucker for maple in general, and I always dipped my bacon into my pancake syrup when I was little, so I feel somehow validated that maple and bacon is this just sort of accepted thing now. :D

Oh, the fabulous food of the Great Minnesota Get Together! :D I'm jealous. I have lived in Minnesota my entire 27 years of life and have never been to the Fair. I'm making a conscious effort to make a trip next year. It's not really that far of a drive for me and I always hear from people about how great it is.

I enjoyed your food photo journey and now my mouth is watering and I'm off for a snack! ;)

Gasp!! I'm shocked! I would claim blasphemy, except I've never been to Duluth, which generally garners the same reaction. ;) But it really is wonderful. On top of the good food, it's just a good time. People are just happy there, which seems unlikely in a sea of crowds and long lines, but something about it just puts people in good spirits.

I've never been to Duluth either, so I feel like I should at least make it to the Fair. ;-)
