One thing I think I neglected to mention yesterday: INTERPOL TICKETS - I HAS THEM. My hope that they would circle 'round back and stop by when the U2 show they were opening for was cancelled came true. Nabbed tickets for their show at First Avenue, then checked for sightline seating reservations and yup, got those too. Not to set my sights too high

Yeah, the ending with Bill and Lorena wasn't a big shocking "reveal" but it was shocking and repulsive. And kind of lulzy. And then back to repulsive.

I'm really enjoying most of the plotlines on True Blood except for Tara's and Sam's. I like Sam a lot better than I did in the first two seasons when he was pining over Sookie and being all judge-y-judge, but this storyline is b-b-boring. I like the addition of Franklin to the cast, because JAMES FRAAAAAIN, but I feel like he'll be wasted on Tara. She doesn't need another excuse to talk about how much her life sucks and how much men suck. More Pam. More Jessica (and Jessica/Hoyt ♥). More Eric (especially Comedy!Eric because it's delightful). More Alcide and his rippling biceps. The show has given me less Sookie/Bill, which I appreciate, if only she would just... forget about him.

Repulsive is a perfect word for it. I guess I was just assuming someone was unexpectedly killed. Gross sex is kind of par for the True Blood course. :P

Comedy!Eric really is the best! Eric is pretty much the best, period. But Skaarsgård can create so much hilarity with just his facial expressions, even, that I just want them to give him that sort of stuff all the time. :D

Haha.. oh man, Death Becomes Her.. I think I saw that in the theaters when I was little.. that movie was so weird.

Tara used to sulk and have fits and such, but it seemed to always come from a place of good old fashioned common sense. She and Sookie had such a wonderful bond, and it was a nice departure from the books in that sense. But the last two seasons, she's taken a real selfish/destructive streak, IMO. Which, while maybe understandable from what she's been through, they've taken to such an extreme, and made her so unlikable through her reactions to adversity, that it's hard to muster any care for her when she's whining endlessly. She's more like she was in the books now, I think, except in the books, her presence is drastically less. I dunno.

Arlene could be having the town hobo's baby UGGH. Poor Terry; hope he doesn't find out but I know he is going to. I agree about the Sam and Tara plotlines; I hope they're going somewhere with them. I love them both so I don't want bad plotlines for them :(((.

And seriously! I was so excited when she was added as series regular, but she really hasn't been on as much as I'd hoped. :/ (Though her awesomeness rocks it whenever she is. XD)

I must be an awful person because I thought the Bill/Lorena sex scene at the end was lulzy as hell. /o\ Idk...I'm really confused though because I can't figure out if he raped her, or if she in essence raped HIM by using her maker powers on him, thus that's why he twisted her neck around so he wouldn't have to look her in the face?!

My assumption is that Renee is the father of Arlene's baby but I'm not totally sure. Alcide is SO HOT but everything with him felt so rushed for some reason. And there is never enough Eric lol. I agree that they devote too much time to useless, boring stuff like Tara and Sam's family. Of the new characters this season, I think Talbot is the most fun. XD

Yeah, I mean it was gross, but so are 90% of the sex scenes on the show.

See, that's what bugs me about the Tara/Sam/whatever diversions.. Alcide was rushed.. and FOR NO REASON! It's not even like they're trying to cram extra stuff in to say true to the books.. they're adding extra crap and taking away from stuff that is actually interesting.
