Veronica woke up and found herself alone in her bed.

This wasn't unusual in and of itself, but she still had the vague sense that something wasn't quite right.

Dick was waking up slowly but he realized who was talking to him now and, judging from the tone, she knew who she was too.

"That depends. Are you going to shock me?" he teased.
