Isabel got up early, put on a pot of coffee for everyone else in the house that would be getting up soon, then pulled out her phone.

She had a favor to ask.

*ring* *ring*

"Mars," she answered the phone, not recognizing the number that showed up on the caller ID.

[izzyalienqueen]

"Hey Veronica," Isabel said, wedging the phone between her ear and her shoulder as she fixed her coffee. "It's Isabel. How are you?"

"Isabel, hey!" Veronica said, putting her file aside. "I'm doing pretty well, though my internship is going far too fast. How's life post Fandom treating you?"
