Veronica woke up and looked around her nearly empty room. Most of her belongings had been shipped to Neptune in preparation for her trip to Paris before she headed off to Hearst. "Hey, I come bearing gift," Jaye greets her, and steps inside, holding out a gift bag. "Ah, memories."

Veronica opened the gift and started laughing. "You know, it amazes me that you still talk to me considering right after we met you ended up in a dumpster for me and radio insinuated we were making out in an alley."

"Just for a week," Veronica smiled. "Then it's back to Neptune to start classes for me. And Archie will be heading to San Diego."

"Well, I'm pretty sure if I didn't, I'd end up with the lot of you at my door," Veronica said. "And while that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, it might be a little hard to explain to my new roommate."
