Veronica's up early putting the finishing touches on her ACJ essay before heading to class.

After class she is in her room until it's time to go to work unless something interesting comes up.

Marty who *handwave* followed Veronica back to her room. He still hadn't wiped off that goony grin since Sunday.

Veronica opened the door and ushered Marty in, waving idly at the couches and chair as she went over to start a pot of coffee.

"So Angela must be really forgiving to take you back after that whole mess last week," she teased.

"I believe there was much flailing on my part," Marty said flopping down on a sofa. "And I believe I still need to apologize to you in person for my behavior that night."

The coffee pot started dripping and she walked over and sat in the chair with a shrug. "It's no big deal. You were acting really weird all week though, were you sick or something?"

Mac tapped quickly on the door. She had a free afternoon and might as well spend it doing something useful, helping Veronica was bound to be far more interesting than catching up on work she'd missed.

"It's open!" Veronica called from her perch on the couch. She was attempting to organize her notes for the investigations on Nadia and Isabel's backgrounds. It would probably be going better if she didn't stop to stare off into space every few minutes, wondering what she and Logan were doing tomorrow night.

Pushing open the door she grinned, "Hey Veronica". She closed the door behind her, and made her way to the couch where the other girl was sitting. Mac eyed the bits of paper in piles on the sofa, "hope I'm not disturbing you from anything."

"Nope, not at all," she grinned. "Have a seat," she said, indicating the other couch or the arm chair. "In fact, I'm hoping you're here because you got my email and you're willing to help me out."

Mac dropped her bag onto the other couch, and sat down next to it. "I got your email, and am here and ready to help out with whatever you need. So long as it keeps the perils of over-studying away, I'm game."

[Eeep, sorry.]

"That's what I've always liked about you, Mac, your spirit of adventure," Veronica said with a grin. She shuffled through some of her papers and finally found what she was looking for.

She handed the sheet to Mac.

"Can you find out everything there is to find out about these people?" she asked. "And that symbol, I have no idea what it means or anything, but see if you can find out what it means."

Lilly at some point when neither girl was in class stopped by, not bothering to knock.

"So," Lilly says as she enters the room. "Are you getting laid yet?"

Veronica didn't look up from her laptop, where she was creating files and trying to enter all the notes that were strewn around her into coherent documents.

"What makes you think I would be?" she asked. "Help yourself to coffee or whatever," she said.

Lilly grabs some coffee and takes a seat.

"Ummm, I work at the radio station? And I am well acquainted with the average libido of the teenage male, specifically the one in question?"

That gets Veronica to look up from the laptop. "No," she says simply.

"So did you have a hot date for Valentine's?" Trying to change the subject, you bet. Does she really think Lilly will let it drop, no, but that doesn't mean she won't try.
