Veronica woke up in Town Hall with everyone else. In the chaos, she slipped away without talking to anyone and made a beeline for her apartment.

After a long shower, she made some tea, added a healthy shot of whiskey and sent a quick email to anyone who might have been worried about her.

Veronica made a resolution to do a better job of keeping in touch with her friends in 2009.

The first step of this resolution was to make a phone call to a friend that she hadn't talked to in, well, longer than she cared to admit.

She just hoped that she wasn't waking him or the baby up.

Veronica was busy in the kitchen doing prep work for tomorrow's dinner and trying not to think about the nightmare she had the night before. She had her phone close at hand in case Marty got lost on his way from the airport to the apartment. Her dad was at the store picking up some last minute groceries and Backup was laying on the couch.

Cally was at her workshop and Veronica had a few phone calls she needed to make.

It took her a few minutes to do the math on the time zones since she hadn't had much sleep, but she decided to call Marty first.

After going to class and spending time with Logan at J, GOB, Veronica headed back to her room and decided to take a nap.

She laid on her back, staring at the ceiling and mentally reviewing what was shaping up to be one of the worst weeks on record. It was quite a change from last Friday with Logan.

Veronica's up early putting the finishing touches on her ACJ essay before heading to class.

After class she is in her room until it's time to go to work unless something interesting comes up.
