Veronica woke up in Town Hall with everyone else. In the chaos, she slipped away without talking to anyone and made a beeline for her apartment.

After a long shower, she made some tea, added a healthy shot of whiskey and sent a quick email to anyone who might have been worried about her.

Tim got off the phone himself, and finally came out into the living room. He had a need to watch some just completely ridiculous comedy. On TV he found a show called Scientific Explanation. Problem solved.

"It's pretty good. Though I don't understand half of what they're talking about." Anything that wasn't about what had happened this week.

"I haven't really been paying attention," she admitted.

"Sokay. I just needed something normal."

"I totally get that."

[grand_fallguy]

"On a somewhat related note, I'm gonna try to take my vacation class to Busch Gardens instead of give them a final. Care to be an extra chaperon?"

"I'll need to check my mun's schedule," she said.
