Yes, it was break week. And, yes, it was nearly a holiday.

But Veronica was still in her office with a rather large cup of coffee. If anyone asked, she was working on her syllabus. The truth was she was hiding.

It... probably wasn't the greatest hiding place in the world.

Veronica groaned at the caller ID.

But she knew that she had to answer it sometime.

"Go ahead. Get it over with."

Such a friendly greeting.

"What happened?" Piper asked. Yes, she had seen the pictures.

Somehow Veronica knew that without asking.

"Went to a bar with Deadpool. Some emo kids decided to start shit. We finished it."
