This is a Quoilyn...

...in ink, yanked from my last sketchbook. Quoilyns galloped, rude & laughing, out of my head when I was about 16. They are the embodiment of greed, avarice and lust, and they delight in it.

I don't recall ever seeing that last one. And when doesn't the crotch rule the mind? ;-)

I painted this after hooking up with a European soccer team after they'd just won some ginormous game.

I don't know about anyone else but I am throughly enjoying the sketchbook pages, it's like taking a quick peek inside your head. Or at least a look through your eyes.

Yup, but the conversations I have in this forum revolve around what I post, as it does for any of us.

For the last two years, it's been New Orleans, Katrina, evacuataion, destruction, rebuilding...I need to remember who I am, not what's been thrust upon me.

I have Soul Owning at work--it keeps my head on straight. But it gets some interesting looks. I love watching people spot it, then move in to admire, then raise an eyebrow and glance at me. It's great.

If I could, I would absolutely purchase Church Stream and/or Soul Owning. I just can't right now. Someday. . .

I like them. I've wondered what they were in my copy of Soul Owning. One question: How do you pronounce "quoilyns"?
