I am jealous of your garden! We have a postage stamp for a yard and so our "garden" is formerly the raised flower bed along the garage (and consists only of rhubarb, 1 pepper plant and 2 tomatoes).

Whereabouts do you live? I am originally from California and never even thought of having a garden other than the citrus trees in my dad's backyard, heh. Out here in Maine it seems more natural for us to be doing this, I love it.

Originally from SoDak, but now I'm living in Minnesota. Gardens are the thing here (we have a ton of community gardens, the most farmers markets in the entire US, etc) but we just don't have the space. Our lot is all house/garage and no yard.

i am envious of your garden! think about how great it's going to be to eat all those great veggies and know that YOU grew them!

have you ever done the herb garden thing? mike & i are thinking about starting a little herb garden in the back yard. mike is the resident chef of our family and he would love to have fresh basil, rosemary, etc. to cook with all the time.
