Day off!

I used our new grill for the first time today. ♥ We had barbecued (beef) ribs and corn on the cob. It all turned out pretty well. I think I like this new toy. I finished up by baking a batch of brownies. Mmmm... brownies

Me too! Isn't it weird that, no matter how annoyed we got at him, by mid-afternoon it was mostly just a cute story to tell? I love my Smokey-sir.

Ooo, kayaking sounds like fun. I've seen some people kayaking on the lake out here.

And so funny with kitty wake up calls. I get the ones that come on two feet rather than four (my boy). He came in this morning at about six, though he was still sleepy. I just scooched over and raised the blanket. He crawled in for cuddles and fell back asleep for another couple hours. So nice.

Ah, lucky you. I can think of nothing better than catching a couple more hours of sleep snuggled with your little boy. But Bu *never* goes to sleep. She just meows. And hits. And knocks things over. >_< Why do I even like that cat?
