I understand the Pittsburgh Parking Chair. In a storm such as we have had, I will even respect it. That is why I parked in the spot without the chair. Definitely an example where New Yorkers are actually more civil than other urbanites (though it'd be nearly impossible to mark out one's territory in a place like NYC).
Anyway, I hear you -- neighbors are evil. Part of me wants to live on a mountaintop.
