Return note sent to Marlene during lunch (yes...my timing's off again ;P)shrewd_emmyDecember 15 2005, 06:44:47 UTC
Marlene,
I have neither heard from James or Sirius as of late, although I suppose that is due to the career counseling that is taking place around the school. This most likely means that we should perhaps push for next week when it comes to AAW.
However, Sirius did bring up a good point, a point that I have obviously forgotten. Greta also attends these AAW meetings, which means that we have two choices before us: either we pull Greta out of attending the meeting somehow, or we let her be effected by this prank.
Either way, I fear that we have ourselves here a sort of cyclical conundrum before us, and while I would like to spare Greta from this prank, this is one situation for which I myself could not see a clear solution to. Do you have any insight into this?

Em,
Next week would be best, but I really don't think I can do it if something has to happen to Greta! We have to come up with some way to stop her from going. I'm sure the two of us can figure it out. We don't have to mention it to James or Sirius- They wouldn't approve, would they? Perhaps we should meet sometime soon to discuss it further? What do you think?

Marlene,
As Sirius pointed out, should Greta be the only one not effected, all suspicions would fall upon her, and then where would we be? Considering the characters that attend the AAW, to have the collective negative attentions of the AAW is perhaps more worse than going through a hopefully harmless prank. Still, I do understand how you feel as I am not that cold-blooded, darnit!.
We'll meet then, and see what we can do. There has to be a middle-ground somewhere in all of this.
