Adam was hit by a car last night. He is okay in that nothing was broken, but he's still quite injured and is probably going to the hospital today (definitely not going to work). The driver ran a red light, like just wasn't paying attention at all, and if Adam had been one second further ahead, he might have died. Luckily he had many witnesses, and ( Read more... )

Ay! That is horrible. Express my deepest sympathies to Adam. Which hospital is he in? Does he need visitors, or help with anything?

He won't be in a hospital (he slept at home last night), he's just visiting emergency at St. Paul's today. A friend of ours will be driving him there, which is handy. Thanks for the offer :)

I do not really read Twitter. The last Zach Crash I remember hearing about was when you and another cyclist collided. ... reading now, though, I see that you are okay although your bike is not. Still scary though!

Physical therapy (we call it physio) is not covered under Canadian health care, but luckily his work plan has coverage. :)
