Which is why he's called off work so he can spend the day with her and show her off to the doubters. This means he'll be dragging her off

[Is it Suki? Because, she's totally Sokka's boss. Speaking of which, Sokka happens to push himself up against the window of the general store. He turns to Suki and points inside.]

Whoa. I think that toaster has eight slots. Do you have any idea how much toast we could make with that!?

I assume eight pieces every time. [He's so cute when he's dorking about stuff. Not that she's had much experience with a toaster, she's only used it a few times at home.]

[Sokka blinks after bumping into Sheena, having been too distracted regaling Suki with the time he went on a heroic rescue mission to save Nami from Aku.]

[Well Sokka WAS looking at this awesome jacket, but that... gets his attention. That voice is familiar, but... the woman he sees does not quite match what he was expecting.]

[Ohoho. Well, she can't say the attention isn't nice, but this is their day. So she slips an arm through Sokka's and offers out her hand to the- ...man? Yeah, sounds like a man. He's awfully pretty, though.]

[He totally does the hand kiss. Oh, so that's Sokka? Might as well screw around with him for a bit.]

[Well, Adell is out shopping, looking for Miu's gift at the item store. This is harder than he thought, but he told Haruki he would be there and he doesn't really have any ideas. Maybe something will come to him.

...Well, until he hears Sokka's voice nearby, which prompts him to look in his direction.]

[Here comes the beginning of a story where Sokka is explaining to Suki how he named all his canoes. All three of them are named after women. None of them are named after her. Oops.]

... so I told Hugo, you know what? You should name the boat after a girl you care about. So that's how I named that canoe "Aila". The irony of course is that now I'm probably the only person in this whole place that even knows who that is!
