[Where there are zombies there is a Katie, sword in hand. She's not particularly intent on fighting them, more searching their ranks to make sure they're not attacking a particular someone, but that doesn't mean they won't attack her.

Where does that leave Sokka? Not leisurely fighting for his life, that's what! When those two break off to go after her, he has to cut through the ones he's fighting to go after her. [She totally did it on purpose, you know. Though admittedly she might have been too busy gawking at them to realise they'd even pay attention right back, which means she doesn't have time to draw up a cantrip to hit multiple targets at once. She flicks a finger sharply at one of them-- and it goes flying fast, up and hurtling over forest to the orange glow that's seen in the distance. Fire should help, right?

And then she dives with a small shriek to get out of the other one's way.]

[That gives Sokka pause as he watches that one skeleton go flying into the distance. He blinks in surprise at Katie, before realizing that the other one is still attacking. Adding a bit of Eferin's fiery touch to his sword, he cleaves through the skeleton's weak shield with ease, before cutting its head off.

Not that beheading really has much of an effect on skeleton people.]

[Sadly, the balloon has probably already been popped after Frey's thread. She would have loved to have made fun of it. You know, rather than be forced to sprint out of her current hiding place when she gets overrun by a group of Holly Boys. She'd much rather have continued to stay hidden and try to find her way someplace safe, if such a place existed right now.

She's already pretty dirty and her journal is lost back near where she started. She's really not been enjoying this afternoon.

She's running in approximately Sokka's direction, but she hasn't noticed him yet.]

[Well at this point, Sokka is too busy staring up at the sky, having thought he saw another one of those squirrels flying overhead. The last thing he wants is to end up with three balloons and go flying away, even though that would be impossible. Still, Frey's world is pretty nonsensical. It could actually happen. So there's a good chance he won't notice her unless she runs into him. Or is loud or something.]

[She's trying not to make too much noise, afraid to attract more monsters, although running isn't exactly stealthy.

Still, she does notice him as she gets closer and adjusts her course to be a bit closer to him. She doesn't yell at him, but her voice is rather urgent when she calls at a more controlled volume:] Sokka! [And then she's going to try to grab his arm or something as she passes by him to try to drag him into a run. She has no idea the comparative strength between Sokka and these holly things, so she's not going to just immediately send him after them.]

[He snaps to attention when he hears his name. At first he doesn't budge, but seeing her urgency, he starts running too, not knowing exactly why. He glances behind him, seeing what looks like leaves being blown after them. Was it some kind of invisible ghost?]
