[Frey had headed out as soon as the monsters started showing up, and he comes across Sokka right after the flying squirrel got him. He.... just stares.]

[Sokka is too busy rubbing his poor, injured head. When he notices Frey standing there uselessly, he just gives him a weird look.] What?

Why are they-..... Nevermind. [He continues to stare.] You might want to pop that.

Pop... what? [... wait. WAIT. He starts patting his own face in sudden, horrific realization.]

Where is it? I was told all the greasy food in Luceti wasn't good for me, but I didn't think it would actually happen...

No, um, above your head. [He points for good measure, a small smile on his face.] Luckily, it seems you haven't been hit more then once.

[You earn the most incredulous of looks at that. He reaches for the string and pulls it down. He attempts to simply snap the string in two, but that doesn't seem to work. So he grabs the balloon and squeezes it, hoping that will pop it. CLEARLY THIS IS A MAGICAL BALLOON.]

That thing... with the cape. The one that hit me on the head. That is from your world? The same world Hugo and the Silverbergs are from? That world?

[Frey can't help but be amused by his attempts to pop it.] A flying squirrel? Well, yes, it is. Why?

And you might want to try a needle. Or maybe your sword, something pointed to pop it.

[Frey's world no longer makes sense. Sokka has lost all respect he once had for it. However, at Frey's suggestion, he reaches behind him for his boomerang, and uses it to slash the balloon. Being unused to rubber balloons in general, he's a bit startled when it makes a loud POP in his face.]

[you've yet to see the epic beavers yet. or the duck people. or furfurs, or any of the dozens of weird monsters that reside there. Frey grins a little more at Sokka's surprise.]

That wasn't so hard, was it? Still, better to pop it now then risk a few more attacks and floating away.

You'd need dozens of those balloons to be able to lift me off the ground. [Way to fail gravity, Frey. Jeez.]
