M thumb is only a pale shade of green. I do have a veggie garden, my tomatoe plants already have flowers on them. I could not really get basil to grow in pots, it all died. I have had great success with planting it in a hydroponic bed though, it loves it there and grows even in the winter. I have pesto whenever it grows out of control.
