So I had some outpatient work done on me on Thursday. My mum-in-law drove me in (at 6 in the frellin' morning!) and stuck around to drive me home, per the surgical center's policy. The prep nurse mentioned that I could keep my rings on but that they preferred if I didn't. No big deal; I pulled them all off, including my engagement and wedding bands

Man, if you're lucky, that'll be enough time for the anti-tan line to fade, too. Then you can really get into trouble. ;)

And with it being winter, my hands have been shrunk enough for long enough that there's not indentation - I have to be careful that my rings don't just fall off when it's cold.
