I hope the trailer doesn't turn out to be the best part of the movie like too many other films recently. It has so much promise!

I just recently read It for the first time, and I loved it (except for the weird sex stuff, which I'm really thinking they will probably not keep, thank GOD). I just...I think I'm going to have to wait for the movie to come out on DVD so I can watch it in the middle of the day, with all the lights on, and something to hold on to.

I got almost halfway through it when I was 12-ish but gave up. The copy I was reading from was hardcover and a heavy SOB.

Fun story, I started to read it after I was at a sleepover with a bunch of girls and the two movies we rented were it and Cujo. We watched the latter first to "ease us in" but it ended up scaring me SO badly that I sat in the host's kitchen with my fingers in my ears while they watched it. The next day we watched it again and I was like, "this is scary? A rabid dog is scary, this is just a clown!"
