And now you know the rest of the story

• It snowed as much in six hours last night as it pretty much has the entire season so far. That was an interesting drive to work. It was actually a bit easier than it usually is with over a half foot of snow on the ground! See, in my area of the city they'll plow and sand the hills (first priority since those generally don't work well with ( Read more... )

The Librarians has been really great this season, I don't want it to end!

The same here. It's mildly snowing now and I'm a bit worried. They warned for black ice tonight and I have my swedish course. I would prefer the car over the train tbh. The way with the train to the school is about twice as long...

Sounds like chaos where you live. Is it a big city or more rural? Anyway... drive safely.

No idea about the whole background story and if that could be a reason. But a friend's cat started to pee in the house - preferably on soft surfaces like pillows or the couch and bed - and avoided the litter box. Turned out she developed sensitive paws and couldn't stand the actual litter anymore. So they tried it with newspaper instead which worked for some time. Later on they used a combination of sand and newspaper which seems to work so far.

I don't know... the whole Librarians season is quite mixed imo. We had one or two good episodes but most were just blah. Although Cassandra asking Jenkin's for a date was a surprise;) *gg*

My city is about 65k so mid? Mid-range, I guess? It's also on the prairies of Canada and they just never got the hang of proper road maintenance out here. I lived in another city about two hours away and they wouldn't plow, either, so you had to drive in the tracks of all the cars ahead of you or risk ripping your muffler off. Or they WOULD plow but shitty so there would be a snow bank between the lanes. Ridiculous! They also don't salt the road and only sand important routes so the money you may save on keeping you car free from salt damage is negated when you smash into 500 cars in a winter. *rolls eyes ( ... )

I thought the whole Jenkins thing was a kind of panic "OMG I need to do anything I'd ever thought of before I die" thing. To prove to herself something before the end. I can imagine she maybe was attracted to Jenkins because she's the type that needs someone who can intellectually challenge her - but more in a mentor/student admiring relationship than real love. So I was surprised but didn't take it seriously.

The vampire kiss on the other hand was basically the same but the other side of the coin - acting out on a sexual chemistry which was there from the beginning but wouldn't lead anywhere...

I would much rather have seen Cassandra ask STONE out (or Stone as Eve out, but whatevs) in that case. She actually interacts with him and they had that conflict where he didn't fully trust her and stuff so I think it would have been a bit more believable that their relationship evolved to this.

I would have been okay with Cassandra being turned by the vamp and staying behind there too, actually!

Cute pets! Is your dog anxious? That's why we've had accidents in the house before, when we've been out. I discovered the neighbours' downstairs window got smashed one day, which must have gave him a massive scare and he pissed on the rug.

Sometimes I think he's just trolling me though, like when he QUITE CLEARLY drank 6749902 gallons of water when I showered him, but then later refused to go out to do his business because it was raining.

Nah, she's not anxious. She's just a little shit, LOL. I think because it's been SO COLD here her bladder shrunk to the size of a pea and she decided to be a dick. On the floor would have sucked but at least I wouldn't have had to wash every single piece of bedding. :\

Your roads are SCARY. The slipperiest ours get are when we get a rain shower after long dry periods so the roads have built up oil residue.

Ha, I have another lj friend who adores Flynn so it's fun seeing the opposite viewpoints. I'm indifferent to him myself. I've only seen the first ep of latest season though.

Unfortunately everyone around here relies on the chinooks I mentioned even though they rarely solve the issues 100%, if ever. Plus there's no predicting a chinook so, for instance, right now we're hitting -45 or so with the wind chill and the snow is blowing because it's never been properly moved so we have drifts uuuuuurvrywhere. Drive into an empty parking spot in the morning, have to giv'er like hell to get out at night, LOL.

I'm sorry to hear that one of the pets peed on the bed. That sucks.

Our snow plows don't do much for residential streets around here either.

Travel safe!
