an adultier adult

• I deleted the most recent episode of Timeless when I was halfway through and removed it from my scheduled recordings. I. Just. Can't.

• The next two on the chopping block are Designated Survivor and American Housewife. The former I've talked about but the latter is just 'meh'. Nothing revolutionary about it and the family/mom isn't wacky ( Read more... )

Timeless: that bad? We watched the first one and have continued to record it, but we have so little time to watch and there's so much on, suddenly.

It seems like either you love it or hate it. I have a reaction mixture of eye-rolling and wondering what's going on because I tuned out.

Maybe it would be better if you watched all the episodes in one or two chunks so the plot is ... less bad?

Speechless sounds pretty good, and yeah, I heard about the whole Timeless thing.

I'll probably go on about Speechless all season, as long as it stays on the air, LOL.

I wish I saw what other people do in Timeless. Some people are loving it and I know it's a matter of preferences and all but I LOVE history, majored in it, I LOVE TV so you'd think together I'd be in heaven. I think the writers have given the characters plotlines that are secondary to the idea of time travel and have sloppily tried to mush them together in a way that my brain does NOT like.

I've been enjoying The Good Place too, episode 7 really had me cracking up with Janet's "murder" *g*

I don't want to really, but I think I'm giving up on Timeless as well. It's just not holding my interest like I hoped it would :(

Adulting is hard :( Why must it be so difficult, honestly?

I don't know if a network will ever do a really great time travel show. It just gets too confusing and the logic of it all hurts my brain. :(

I think I get those people who like to be adult babies now. :( I don't want someone to change me or anything but it would be nice to act like there were no responsibilities. To have the money, amirite?

We're behind on Timeless, but now I'm worried. I love time travel stories, and I was so excited about it before it started.

I kind of wish I could give up on Designated Survivor as it's not holding my interest, but since it's only one of three shows I can get Craig to come out and watch with me, I'm sticking it out until he says stop. It's worth it for me to keep my couch cuddle time, lol.

Timeless might be better if you can marathon it and not have a week between eps to forget what's been going on and to lose interest in the characters.
