Acapella does indeed rock. I recently downloaded something like fifteen years worth of the Best Of College Acapella compilations- good shit. It's the source of my #glee observation on twitter the other day...

It's one of the reasons I'll probably be watching Glee in the fall, even if they seem to use a lot of instrumental backing so far.

Someone ages ago did an acapella version of the Marriage of Figaro. I received a copy of it on cassette back in 1989, but lost track of the person who gave it to me, and never did find out who did it. I'd love to track this down, so if you have any suggestions I welcome them. :)
