Naruto was really entertaining. I saw 6 episodes in a raw. Fascinating characters. All of them! (Does anybody know the artist and the title of the opening song?)

Depends on which version and what season. The American version of the first season had drastically different opening songs, because the opening song for the Japanese version sounded way too similiar to an old American song. (I think...) In any case, register at NarutoFan.com and you can download all the music in the Media Downloads section, including all opening and closing tracks and the music from the 3 movies.

As for my favorite anime:
  1. Neon Genesis Evangelion/Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (tie)
  2. Bleach
  3. Naruto

I must confess, however, that my viewing of anime is extremely limited.

Is the Evangelion anime very different from the manga? You know, as I am a fan of printed material and less of the screen, I have seen few anime as well.
3 Naruto movies? Aha! I finished the 25 first episodes of the first season today. Ah, I've also seen 4 episodes of Ghost in the Shell. (5-8) It seems good! I want to find the first volume as well... And I've seen the first episode of Bleach. It was nice, but when I think Shinigami, I think Ryuk and Rem...

Supposedly, Shinji is darker in the anime, and more of a wuss; but since I haven't read the (first) Evangelion manga, I can't really say for sure.

I seem to be totally opposite you; I have only 3 or 4 manga books lying around, including the first volume of the new "Angelic Days" Evangelion series. I just watch more anime because I just don't sit down and read manga. Really, I have no explanation.

Ghost in the Shell is divine.
